Welcome to Collective's blog, where streetwear meets story, and fashion meets purpose. I’m Seba, the mind behind both S3BBA (the hard techno artist) and Collective (the streetwear clothing brand). You might be wondering what these two very different things have in common, and why they even share the same name. Here, I’ll take you through the journey that’s brought these two sides of S3BBA into existence, showing how they’re both deeply connected and yet each its own unique expression of who I am.
S3BBA: The Artist – Crush the Silence, Ignite the Chaos!
Let’s start with S3BBA, my DJ and production alias in the hard techno scene. This version of S3BBA is all about the energy, the relentless bass, and the dark, hypnotic rhythms that define hard techno. Music has always been my rawest form of self-expression, a space where I pour my own stories, emotions, and even my frustrations. Hard techno lets me connect with people who feel the same drive and intensity in life, and who need music that mirrors that energy.
In a way, S3BBA the artist is fueled by my personal history. The story behind the name “SEBBA” or “S3BBA” came from a moment in my life that’s motivated me ever since. There was someone in my younger years who doubted me, who thought I’d never accomplish much. He would mispronounce my name as “SEBBA,” almost like it was a joke. I decided to turn that doubt into something powerful, embracing that name and making it mine. By reclaiming SEBBA as S3BBA, I’ve made it a symbol of resilience and the drive to succeed against the odds. For me, S3BBA the artist represents more than just music; it’s about sending out that intense message: Crush the Silence, Ignite the Chaos!
Collective: The Brand – Collections with Purpose
On the other side of things, we have Collective, the streetwear clothing brand. This is where my love for style, culture, and community comes together in a completely different way. Collective isn’t just a merch line, it’s a brand created to represent the spirit of pushing boundaries, living authentically, and taking risks, but all of this expressed through fashion. The clothing captures a raw, urban energy that resonates with the music but has its own visual story to tell. The brand is rooted in the streetwear culture of freedom and creativity, in the way we wear our identities, and it’s designed for people who want to wear something that speaks to that. We make Collections with Purpose, designed to remind us all to keep pushing, living boldly, and being true to ourselves.
How S3BBA and Collective Are Different
Both brands are very different in purpose, style, and the ways they connect with people. When you think about them as nouns, music and streetwear clothing occupy two totally different worlds.
- S3BBA, the artist, lives in the underground music scene, creating tracks that make people lose themselves on the dance floor.
- Collective, the clothing brand, is rooted in the city streets, in the everyday grind, in the bold self-expression of fashion.
Hard techno and streetwear may share an attitude, but they’re separate in the way they reach people. One is through sound, vibration, and movement; the other through texture, design, and color. S3BBA the artist is focused on beats and rhythms, while Collective is focused on fabric, fit, and style.
What Connects S3BBA and Collective?
At the heart of both S3BBA and Collective is a singular drive: the need to create, to express, and to push boundaries. No matter what form it takes: music or clothing, the creative energy and personal story behind the name S3BBA unites both. They both come from my journey, from turning a moment of doubt into a statement of self. It’s a name that reminds me where I came from and motivates me to keep pushing forward.
The person behind both brands is the same, even if the art forms are different. Whether you know me as S3BBA, the hard techno DJ/producer, or as Collective, the streetwear brand, I hope these two sides of my work can inspire you to create your own path, define your own style, and never let anyone’s doubt limit your potential.
Thanks for joining me here at Collective, where every piece of clothing carries a piece of the story, and the beat, that made it all possible.
